Why Direct Fluid Sizing Changes the Quote
Most engineers waste time with generic meter selection. They find a flow meter and then try to make the process fit the device. That path causes offset errors, pressure loss surprises, and startup delays.
We start from the fluid. Flow range, operating pressure, temperature, density and viscosity decide the meter size, wetted parts, and transmitter configuration.
Here is the thing. A DN25 Coriolis meter that works for light diesel at 20 °C may not suit heavy fuel oil at 120 °C and 500 cP. The same mass flow range can need a different bore, a different manifold, and different signal processing. This is why direct fluid sizing comes before any quotation.

For palm oil transfer at 80 °C and 12 bar in Indonesia, we usually specify a DN40 meter with 316L wetted parts and a remote transmitter. The remote mount protects the electronics from heat and occasional washdown.
